Beginner (6:30-7:20 or 7:30-8:20)
$140 per 7 session class, sessions begin Feb 25 and April 22, 2010

Beginner Classes are for those dogs who have completed Puppy Kindergarten or are greater then 20 weeks of age. We welcome any dog and owner needing to work on some basic obedience, including adults! This class covers the fundamentals of Obedience/Pet training, and prepares those interested in setting the groundwork for competition training. Material covered includes Sit, Down, Stay, Come, Loose-Leash Walking, Stand and Attention Exercises. Proof of vaccination or titering is required. Advance registration for a specific session is required for this class. The first class meeting is a humans-only orientation.

The required orientation session for ALL Beginner classes will be the first week of class from 7-8:30pm. Please leave your dog at home for orientation!

All Beginner class participants are asked to park in the lot behind the Armory. Beginners meet in the main Armory. Orientation will be held in the Puppy room, which is down the hallway to your left, first door on the left.
